DrDocs is a HIPAA-compliant healthcare documentation platform that provides:

  • Time tracking and visit management for healthcare providers
  • Medical dictation and transcription services
  • AI-powered medical note summarization
  • Patient management and reporting tools
  • Secure data storage and synchronization

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

3.1 Account Creation

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. HIPAA Compliance and Healthcare Regulations

As a healthcare provider using DrDocs, you acknowledge and agree to:

  • Maintain appropriate safeguards for protected health information (PHI)
  • Report any security incidents or breaches promptly
  • Ensure proper authorization for all PHI access and use
  • Comply with state and federal healthcare regulations

5. Data and Privacy

5.1 Protected Health Information

DrDocs is designed to handle PHI in compliance with HIPAA. All PHI is encrypted and stored securely, with comprehensive audit logging and access controls.

5.2 Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you input into the service. We do not claim ownership of your patient data or medical records.

6. Service Availability and Support

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We provide support during business hours and maintain an emergency hotline for critical issues.

7. Intellectual Property

The DrDocs platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without permission.

8. Payment Terms

8.1 Subscription Fees

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

8.2 Payment Processing

We use secure payment processors to handle billing. You are responsible for maintaining current payment information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DrDocs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DrDocs from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the service will be discontinued, and your data will be handled according to our data retention policies.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes and post the updated terms on our website.
